The Ahmedabad to Phu Quoc direct flight by SunPhuQuoc Airways, launching on December 2, 2026, will connect Gujarat with Vietnam’s island destination five times a week, with an introductory offer of 20% off base fares for eligible bookings.

Indian travellers will soon have a more convenient way to reach Phu Quoc, Vietnam’s island destination known for its turquoise waters, natural landscapes, resort stays and leisure attractions. Sun PhuQuoc Airways has opened bookings for its new direct service connecting Phu Quoc with Ahmedabad, with the first flight scheduled for December 2, 2026.

For travel agents and tour operators, the Ahmedabad to Phu Quoc direct flight creates an opportunity to develop Vietnam packages for travellers from Gujarat and neighbouring markets without requiring a connecting flight. The service is scheduled to operate five times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, with a flight time of approximately five hours and 25 minutes.

Introductory offer for travellers

To mark the route launch, Sun PhuQuoc Airways is offering a 20% discount on base fares for bookings made between October 16 and November 13, 2026. The offer applies to eligible flights operating up to June 3, 2027, under the promotion’s terms and conditions. Travellers can use the promotional code AMDPQC when booking through the airline’s official website or mobile application.

The airline has also announced introductory one-way fares from Phu Quoc to Ahmedabad starting at VND 2,619,000, inclusive of taxes and fees. This special launch fare applies to the first four flights in both directions, subject to the offer’s conditions. Agents should check the airline’s booking channels for applicable fares, availability and restrictions before confirming packages.

Onboard experience and baggage allowance

The route will be operated using the Airbus A321NX aircraft. Under its “Resort in the Sky” concept, Sun PhuQuoc Airways aims to bring a leisure-oriented experience to the journey, with spacious cabins, large windows and HEPA air filtration.

The fare includes onboard meals and beverages, along with a baggage allowance of 23 kg of checked baggage and 7 kg of cabin baggage. The onboard menu excludes beef and pork, with chicken, fish and vegetarian meals available. Halal meals can also be requested.

An opportunity for the travel trade

The Ahmedabad to Phu Quoc direct flight gives agents a new option for designing short-haul international holidays, particularly for families, couples and leisure travellers looking for a beach-and-resort escape. Tour operators can combine the flight with accommodation, island activities and sightseeing to create packages across different budgets and durations.

The route also strengthens direct links between Gujarat and Vietnam, opening another avenue for tourism and business exchanges. For agents, early promotion of the new service and its introductory offer can help generate interest ahead of the December launch.
